We are continuing our 1st anniversary celebrations at Get Creative and we are also having the same theme as we had for our previous challenge. And it is of course
Birthday
My plan wasn't to make an all-gray card but I remembered having printed out a cog paper (Bearly Mine) and once trying to find a good companion for it from my pile of pre-printed digi papers I ended up choosing the clock paper (Art of Nadia) which was also gray. Then it was almost impossible to use any colors for the image.
Image, called Sports Car, is from our sponsor Limited Runs and I colored it with my ProMarkers (Black and Cool Grey 1-5). Birthday-sentiment is cut with a Papercrafts die out of the clock paper and both it, and the car, are attached with 3d-pieces. Wire net stamp is from Prima and I used smokey gray VersaFine ink for stamping. For embellishments I added recycled metallic press studs (snap fasteners) that my grandma has taken off from old clothes (don't you just love grandmas for storing these kind of stuff :)

Alkuperäisenä suunnitelmanani ei ollut tehdä täysin harmaata korttia, mutta muistin tulostettujen digipapereiden nipussa olevan valmiina hammasrataspaperi (Bearly Mine) ja kun etsin sille sopivaa kumppania, löytyi kellokuosinen paperi (Art of Nadia), joka sekin oli sitten harmaa. Tämän jälkeen olikin lähes mahdotonta värittää kuvaa kovinkaan kirjavaksi.
Kuva on sponsoriltamme Limited Runs 'lta, nimeltään Sports Car, ja väritin sen promarkereilla (Black ja Cool Grey 1-5). Birthday-tekstin leikkasin Papercraftsin stanssilla kellopaperista ja se, kuten myös auto, on kiinnitetty korttiin 3d-palasilla. Kanaverkkoleimasin on Priman tuotantoa ja leimamusteena VersaFinen smokey gray. Koristeina käytin kierrätettyjä metallisia nepparin osasia, jotka mummo on ottanut talteen vanhoista vaatteista (mummot ovat ihania, kun niiden kätköistä löytyy jos jonkinmoisia aarteita :)
