Itsetehty marmoritausta

I have been wanting to try the so called "shaving cream" technique to create a marbled looking background with distress inks (I used re-fillers faded jeans and worn lipstick on my card). There was no shaving cream at our home so I made a thick paste out of water and wheat flour to create the ink-swirls.

Tree (bought with a Flonz gift certificate) is embossed with black sparkle (by Ranger) embossing powder. The sentiment, which is in Finnish, is wishing "Christmas peace". I wanted to keep the card simple and the self-made background to be the main focus so for embellishments I added only few black rhinestones (in three different sizes: 3, 4 and 4.8 mm).

  13. Upealta näyttää - tätä tekniikkaa on pitänyt itsekin kokeilla, mutta meillä kans tuota partavaahtoa harvemmin löytyy kun partakoneella nykyisin ajelee mies partansa :D Mutta pitää laitella vinkki korvantaakse ja kokeilla joskus tällä tavalla tekniikkaa :)
