I was chosen to become a design team member on Christmas Challenges {with sketches} and I am totally overwhelmed at this moment! Fabulous group of talented ladies and now I can be one of them. Thank you for choosing me!
And of course the big bonus is that because it is a Christmas themed challenge site I will be having a nice amount of Christmas cards ready by Christmas 2014. Yay! Also I really like working with sketches...they sure help you when you run out of ideas.
Minut valittiin Christmas Challenges {with sketches} -haastesivuston design tiimin jäseneksi ja olen totaalisen innoissani asiasta...Jippijaijee! :)
Ehdoton bonushan tässä on se, että kyseessä ovat jouluiset haasteet, joten ensi vuoden joulua varten minulle kertyy mukava kasa valmiita joulukortteja. Ja luonnosten pohjalta tapahtuva korttien teko tunnetusti pelastaa ne päivät, kun oman pääkopan sisällä suttaa tyhjää.
So here we go...this week we have a fabulous sketch made by Wilma, with an extra twist (hint: inspiration photo) so you should definitely hop on to CCWS to check out the sketch, twist photo and also the inspiration from other DT ladies.
On my card I used a digi stamp called Molly Winter and it is from our sponsor Stampfairy. Coloring is done with ProMarkers and edges are distressed with summer sky ink (Memento). I also added a little bit of teared cotton wool on the bottom to give snow-effect.
Designer papers are digital ones from Katie's Wish and Rachel Dickson, the smaller pieces from stash. For embellishments I used die-cut snowflakes (die: Papercrafts) and tiny 2 mm light-blue rhinestones.
Ensimmäisen haastekorttini pohjana on Wilman tekemä luonnos, ja tällä viikolla meillä on hieman lisähaastetta tuomassa inspiraatiokuva, jonka löydät luonnoksen ohella CCWS'n sivulta.
Kortissani käytin sponsorimme Stampfairyn digileimaa nimeltä Molly Winter. Väritykset siihen tein promarkereilla ja reunoja sävytin Mementon summer sky -sävyisellä musteella. Kuvan alalaitaan lisäsin vielä lumeksi hieman höttöistä vanua.
Kuviopaperit ovat Katie's Wishin ja Rachel Dicksonin digipapereita, pienemmät palaset silppulaatikosta. Koristeiksi korttiin päätyi vielä stanssattuja lumihiutaleita (stanssi: Papercrafts) ja pikkuruisia 2 mm -kokoisia vaaleansinisiä akryylijalokiviä.
