Vihdoinkin on aika ensimmäiselle DT-kortilleni Tammy's Scrapin Cornerissa. Tällä viikolla puuhastellaan mukavalla teemalla: punainen + vihreä + nauha
Finally it is time for my first DT card at Tammy's Scrapin Corner. This week we are having a nice theme: red + green + ribbon
On my card I used a digi called "Old car" by our fabulous sponsor QKR Stampede and colored it with oil pastels. Also added some blending with mineral turpentine -- umm, maybe not the best idea when you are crafting inside because that stuff smells terrible. Designer papers were found from my stash and the green one is actually a recycled page of a calendar. Distressing on the edges and for embellishments I used only two different sized ribbons and a big button. Didn't wanna add any sentiment so this one could be used for many different occasions.
Omaan korttiini valitsin sponsoriltamme QKR Stampedelta digileiman "Old car" ja väritin sen öljypastelliväreillä. Värejä levitin lisäksi mineraalitärpätillä, mikä ei todellakaan ollut hyvä idea näin talvisaikaan sisätiloissa askarrellessa, sillä aine haisee todella pahalle. Kuviopaperit jemmalaatikon löytöjä, vihreä yksilö itse asiassa kierrätysteemaisesti vanhan kalenterin sivu. Reunoja ressailin askarteluveitsellä ja koristeiksi tällä kertaa laitoin vain kahta erilevyistä nauhaa sekä ison napin. Jätin kortista tekstin kokonaan pois, jotta tekele käy moneen eri tarkoitukseen.
