Luonnoshaasteet tarjoavat sekä apua kortin sommitteluun, että myös haastavat pysymään määrätyn kaltaisessa lookissa. Tämä Cheerful Sketches 'in tammikuun luonnos tarjosi tuttuun tapaan näitä molempia:
Sketch challenges offer both guidance for card layout and a gentle push to stay within a certain overall look. This January sketch from Cheerful Sketches provided, as usual, a bit of both:
Lisähaasteena itselleni päätin vielä, että luonnoksen kaikki pienemmät osiot tulee löytää silppulaatikosta - joten kuviopapereista ainoastaan alimmaisena oleva kukkapaperi on "täysikokoinen" (otin sen valmiiksitulostettujen digikuviopapereiden nipusta, joten valmistajatietoa sille ei ole tähän hetkeen) ja suikaleet sekä valmiiksi stanssattu ympyrä ovat silppulaatikon löytöjä. Myös kuva (lienee Penny Blackin leimasin) oli aiemmin väritetty, nyt leikkasin sen Spellbindersin stanssilla muotoonsa. Teksti Paperinauhan tuotantoa ja leimattu VersaFinen onyx black musteella. Koristeina muutama erikokoinen vaaleanvihreä puolihelmi ja lisäksi piirsin kuviopapereita kiertämään valetikkauksen valkoisella Sakuran gelly roll kynällä.
As an extra challenge, I decided that all the smaller elements of the sketch had to come from my stashed scraps. Because of this, the only full-size patterned paper is the floral paper at the very bottom (it is from my pile of pre-printed digital designer papers I am not sure which brand it is), while the strips and the pre-die-cut circle are all scrap box finds. The image (most likely a Penny Black stamp) had been colored earlier; this time I simply die-cut it into shape using a Spellbinders die. The Finnish sentiment (stamp from Paperinauha) saying "A warm hug" was stamped with VersaFine onyx black ink. For embellishments, I added a few light green half pearls in different sizes, and finally drew faux stitching around the patterned papers using a white Sakura gelly roll pen.
