DT - Get Creative #96

Our new challenge at Get Creative comes this time with the theme
Favorite Color Combo

My absolutely favorite color is blue -- and all of its different shades and hues -- and the best combo comes when leaving it "alone", plain white is all it needs.

Fabulous image, called Sugar Plump Fairy, is from our sponsor Doctor Digi, I colored it with ProMarkers and cut with a new purchase, an unbranded die ordered from abroad. The die set comes with two different sized dies and I used the smaller one to cut the sentiment (in Finnish, wishing "Have a magical occasion / special day", stamped with majestic blue VersaFine ink and attached with selfmade 3d-pieces). Designer paper is a digital one from Scrappiness Downunder. Star border is cut with a Marianne Design die and for making it I used a thin organza paper (with silver enhancements) which was attached to white cardboard before cutting.

Uuden Get Creative -haasteen teemana on tällä kertaa

Kuviopaperi on Scrappiness Downunderin (digi). Tähtiboordi on leikattu Marianne Designen stanssilla ohuesta organzapaperista (hopeilla koristeilla varustettuna), jonka kiinnitin ensin valkoiseen kartonkiin ennen leikkaamista.

Kortti nro 35/2020

A lot of glam, shimmer and shine with metallic blue velvet ribbon, light blue lace, blue acrylic rhinestones and for her wings I used holographic (by Ranger) embossing powder.

Runsaasti kimallusta ja blingblingiä sinisellä metallihohtoisella samettinauhalla, vaaleansinisellä pitsillä, sinisillä akryylijalokivillä sekä siipiin Rangerin holographic -embossausjauheella lisätyllä hohteella.

And a tiny leftover piece of dp attached inside the card. Ja lisäksi pieni kuviopaperin ylijäämäsuikale kortin sisäpuolelle.

  1. Oh what fun this is Eemeli! I love it :) Great colouring as well. You asked about the white fur 'trim' on the clothes on Santa's Washing line. The die actually cuts shaped slits almost from edge to edge where there is any fur trim so I cut for example the jacket in red and then again in white. Then I just used little scissors to finish the little pieces for the 'fur' round the collar and down the front and also for the two cuffs on the sleeves. Very easy/1
