En edes muista, milloin olisin viimeksi leimannut jollain ihan oikealla (kuva)leimasimella, sillä viime aikoina korttejani ovat koristaneet lähestulkoon ainoastaan digileimakuvat. Nyt kaivoin leimasinlaatikosta esille Panduro Hobbyn joululintusen, jonka edellinen käyttökerta on, usko tai älä, yli neljä vuotta sitten (kyseinen kortti täällä).
I don't even remember the last time I have used a real rubber (image)stamp. Lately I have been working almost entirely with digital ones. I decided to go through my rubber stamp box and ended up founding a beautiful bird stamp (Panduro Hobby). Believe or not, it has been over four years since the last creation I have made with it (the card can be found here).

Korttipohjan päältä löytyy punainen kartonki ja sen päältä Summer Driggsin kuviopaperi, johon leikkasin ovaalin reiän Nellie Snellenin stanssilla. Reiän kohdalle leimasin linnun VersaMarkin vesileimamusteella ja embossasin valkoisella embossausjauheella. Tekstiä varten leikkasin kierrätetystä kartongista (muistaakseni hapankorppupakkauksesta peräisin...) suikaleen, jonka päät leikkasin Punch Bunchin leikkurilla. Teksti Stempelkellerin, muste VersaCraftin pale aqua ja kiinnitys korttiin kotikutoisilla 3d-palasilla (teksti siis irti pari milliä taustasta).
On the card base is attached a red card stock and on top of it a digital designer paper (Summer Driggs) in which I cut a oval hole with a Nellie Snellen die. Inside the hole I stamped the bird with VersaMark watermark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. For the sentiment I cut a strip of recycled card stock (probably from a cracker box...) and the ends of it are cut with Punch Bunch punch. Finnish sentiment, wishing "Peaceful Christmas time", is stamped with pale aqua VersaCraft ink and the strip is attached with self-made 3d-pieces.
