This week's theme at Tammy's Scrapin Corner is
Music
I wanted to approach the theme from a bit different angle than just choosing an image containing something musical. I found the perfect image Christmas Pig from our sponsor QKR Stampede and decided to use it on my music themed Christmas card.
In Finland we have a hilarious Christmas song called The Pig (from year 1980) and the lyrics is all about first raising the pig and then eating it at Christmas time. Probably doesn't sound that funny but the song is totally goofy and you can check it out here (singing starts at 0:55) - actually there is no need to understand the lyrics... ;)
Okay, so for my card I wrote down the lyrics on Word and then printed them out. Black cardstock for framing and black rhinestones in different sizes for embellishments. The image is colored with ProMarkers and I attached it with self-made 3D-pieces to lift it few millimeters up from the background.

Päätin lähestyä aihetta hieman toisella tapaa kuin valitsemalla musiikkiaiheisen kuvan ja sponsoriltamme QKR Stampede'lta löytyikin juuri täydellinen yksilö nimeltään Christmas Pig joulukorttiani varten.
Jokainen varmastikin tuntee Juicen hupaisan joululaulun nimeltään Sika (jouluiseen tunnelmaan pääsee täällä - laulu alkaa 0:55 kohdalla), joten korttia varten kirjoittelin laulun sanat Wordilla ja tulostin ne. Kiinnitin sanat ensin mustalle kartongille, jonka sitten liimasin valkoiseen korttipohjaan.
Possun väritin promarkereilla ja kiinnitin korttiin köyhän-miehen-3D-palasilla, joten kuva on pari milliä irti taustasta. Koristeiksi lisäsin ainoastaan mustia erikokoisia akryylijalokiviä kortin ylälaitaan.
